The USCIS has directed the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) and Texas Service Center (TSC) to cease new adjudications of all employment-based Forms I-485 (except for 4 th preference petitions) and transfer those cases to the National Benefits Center (NBC), located in Summit, MO. My I-485 was transferred to NBC a month ago and is still there but I-485 J was transferred to a field office in Charlotte. I still don't have a RFE for medical yet and am no longer current in EB3. I am current in EB2 but my new employer says they can't interfile since the approved I-140 is from a previous employer. I hear NBC is faster.
